LET'S RUN | 16 WEEK HALF MARATHON TRAINING PLAN
Let’s Run: 16 Week half marathon training guide is one of the running guides available in our Let’s Move training program. This is a running plan for anyone who wants to train for a half marathon!
This plan is 16 weeks and includes 4 days of running, which includes 1 speed workout a week to get the legs moving. The plan starts at a total weekly mileage of 12 miles and peaks at 22 miles with a two week taper.
The goal of this plan is to build mileage and get comfortable building distance at your own pace. The first weeks long run is 4 miles and works its way up to 13.1 miles by week 16. The plan includes important tips regarding fueling, pacing, hydration and also includes a pre run warm up routine.
